Metaforms, a Bengaluru-based AI startup, has raised US$9 million in series A funding led by Peak XV Partners, with support from Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund.

Founded in 2022 by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, Metaforms builds AI agents to automate workflows for market research agencies.

The company’s technology streamlines tasks like survey programming, data processing, and vendor coordination.

Metaforms will use the funding to triple its engineering and AI research teams in Bengaluru and expand into report generation and voice-based research.

It also plans to integrate more deeply with tools like Decipher, SPSS, and Confirmit, and claims to serve four of the world’s top 20 research agencies.
