Peak XV leads $100m round in AI analytics startup Hex

US data analytics startup Hex said it raised US$100 million at a US$1.2 billion valuation in a round led by Peak XV and 137 Ventures, with Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia participating.

The company also introduced Hex 4.0, which it said was rebuilt for AI agents and code-based analytics.

Hex said it rewrote the product from scratch because its earlier architecture limited support for external agents and high-concurrency AI workflows, as more data work moved into tools such as Claude and custom agents.

The company said its earlier product was used by more than 2,500 customers globally.

The funding comes as analytics software companies continue to attract capital. Sigma Computing announced US$80 million in series E funding after previously raising US$200 million in a series D round.
