Paytm’s head of compliance Srinivas Yanamandra resigns
Srinivas Yanamandra, Paytm’s head of compliance, has resigned, as indicated in a company filing.
He joined the fintech firm in April 2022 and will continue in his position until February 28, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition.
Yanamandra has previously worked in compliance roles at the New Development Bank in Shanghai, IDFC FIRST Bank, and ICICI Bank, where he spent over a decade.
He is also a qualified chartered accountant, achieving national ranks in both CA and cost accountancy examinations.
In an email to Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Yanamandra expressed that his decision is motivated by a desire to focus on academic research initiatives.
