Paytm Money, JioBlackRock to roll out active equity fund
Paytm Money and JioBlackRock to launch the JioBlackRock Flexi Cap Fund, which uses BlackRock’s Systematic Active Equity model, making the strategy available to Indian retail investors for the first time.
Paytm Money, based in India, is a digital wealth-tech platform that offers investment products including equities, mutual funds, and pensions.
Subscriptions for the new fund are open on the Paytm Money app from September 23 to October 7, with a minimum investment of 500 rupee (US$6), either as a lump sum or through a systematic investment plan.
The fund invests across large, mid, and small-cap companies using data-driven methods, including AI and machine learning, as well as traditional fund management.
BlackRock’s Aladdin platform will be used to analyze nearly 1,000 Indian companies.
The product has an indicative total expense ratio of 0.5% and no exit load.
Distribution will be exclusive to Paytm Money’s zero-commission platform.
