Paris AI summit to highlight Trump, DeepSeek
United States President Donald Trump’s administration will be in the spotlight at next week’s AI summit in Paris, as it aims to find common ground with China and nearly 100 other nations on AI development.
The AI Action Summit will take place in Paris on February 10-11, gathering representatives from nearly 100 nations to discuss the safe application of AI.
Co-hosted by France and India, the summit will cover topics such as open-source AI systems, clean energy for data centers, labor impacts, and national sovereignty in the AI market.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman will deliver a keynote address. US Vice President JD Vance will represent the American delegation amid uncertainties concerning the US alignment on AI principles with other countries.
