Palantir, US nuclear firm launch AI tool for reactor builds

Palantir Technologies has partnered with The Nuclear Company to create the Nuclear Operating System (NOS), a platform designed to speed up nuclear construction projects.

Built on Palantir’s Foundry platform, NOS will use AI and real-time data to address delays and budget overruns in reactor construction.

Features include predictive analytics, digital twin models, and automated compliance with regulations.

The system will monitor construction sites in real time, manage supply chains, and provide immediate guidance to construction teams.

This collaboration comes as the US pushes to expand nuclear power amid rising global competition, especially from China.

Palantir’s engineering team will work closely with The Nuclear Company to integrate NOS into ongoing projects, supporting government goals to boost nuclear energy capacity.
