Oyo invests $10m in US-based G6 Hospitality’s digital assets
Oyo, a hospitality company led by Ritesh Agarwal, has announced a 86.6 crore rupees (US$10 million) investment to enhance the digital presence of G6 Hospitality.
The company acquired G6, known for operating Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, for 4,382.72 crore rupees (US$525 million) in 2024.
The investment will focus on improving the Motel 6 website and the My6 mobile application, with a goal of increasing app installations by four times.
This initiative aligns with Oyo’s strategy to expand in the United States, where it currently manages over 320 hotels across 35 states.
