Oracle shares jump on US-China TikTok deal talks
Oracle shares rose up to 5.9% on September 16, 2025 after reports that talks over TikTok’s future in the US are advancing.
Oracle has been TikTok’s main cloud infrastructure provider in the US, and the app’s fate has been uncertain since US authorities demanded its Chinese owner divest.
President Donald Trump said he reached a deal with China and will speak with President Xi Jinping on September 19, 2025 to confirm details, including the group of buyers for TikTok.
