Oracle plans HPE networking rollout for AI data centers
Hewlett Packard Enterprise said on September 9 that Oracle plans a multiyear global deployment of HPE Juniper Networking routers and switches across Oracle’s AI data centers as the cloud company expands its AI infrastructure.
The collaboration covers PTX and MX routing platforms, QFX and EX switching platforms, multiyear networking support services, and joint work on intelligent telemetry for Oracle’s AI clusters, regional data centers, and edge networks.
The announcement came after HPE closed its acquisition of Juniper Networks on July 2, 2025.
The rollout fits Oracle’s broader AI infrastructure expansion. Oracle said investment will continue into 2026, and Oracle had outlined US$10 billion in data center expansion plans in 2024.
HPE also said it issued warrants to Oracle as part of the agreement, but but did not disclose the terms.
