Oracle beats estimates as Q4 cloud revenue jumps 47%
Oracle said on June 10 that fourth-quarter revenue rose 21% year on year to US$19.2 billion, while net income available to common shareholders increased 23% to US$4.2 billion.
Cloud revenue climbed 47% to US$9.9 billion, helping the company beat estimates for revenue and earnings per share (EPS).
In fiscal 2026, revenue rose 17% to US$67.4 billion. Free cash flow was negative US$23.7 billion after heavy spending on cloud infrastructure.
Oracle had previously guided about US$50 billion in capital expenditures for the year as it expanded AI and cloud capacity.
Remaining performance obligations (RPO), which track contracted revenue not yet delivered, reached US$638 billion, up from US$553 billion in the prior quarter.
Oracle said large-scale AI deals drove most of the increase.
Earlier disclosures linked backlog growth to new commitments from Meta, Nvidia, and others.
Oracle also said it raised US$43 billion in debt financing and US$5 billion in equity financing in fiscal 2026, and expects to raise about US$40 billion more in fiscal 2027.
