Oracle, AWS bring AI database service to South Korea
Oracle and Amazon Web Services have announced the launch of Oracle AI Database@AWS, giving South Korean customers access to Oracle database services.
The offering includes Exadata Database Service, Autonomous Operating AI Database, and Autonomous Operating AI Lakehouse.
The companies said it is meant to let users move on-premises Oracle databases and Exadata workloads to AWS with limited changes, and connect Oracle and AWS data without ETL pipelines.
CJ Olive Young was cited as a case study for migrating core workloads to the new service.
