Udhay Furtado, a former Citibank and Goldman executive, will lead the Orbit fund as chief investment officer (CIO).
The fund’s pipeline includes companies in financial services, healthcare, software, and consumer sectors, all with a strong AI angle.
Openspace’s second fund, Onyx Growth Credit, targets US$200 million to provide loans between US$15 million and US$30 million to companies seeking growth capital.
Omesh Fabani, Openspace’s head of credit, will lead the Onyx fund.
