OpenAI, Tenable unveil AI agent security review

US cybersecurity firm Tenable Holdings said it was collaborating with OpenAI on CyberAgents Exchange AI Inspector.

The security review process covers AI agents, skills, Model Context Protocol servers, and multi-agent playbooks listed on the CyberAgents Exchange.

Tenable said the process combines OpenAI GPT cyber models, skills inspection powered by Tenable One AI Exposure, and reviews by Tenable researchers.

The company unveiled it at OpenAI’s Intelligence at Work: Cyber Summit and said it expected it to be available in September.

Tenable added that the open-source, cybersecurity-focused registry launched in August 2026 and now includes more than 100 community-submitted AI components.
