OpenAI suspends ByteDance over alleged misuse of GPT-generated data
OpenAI has put a pause on ByteDance’s account, alleging that the company used its GPT-generated data to train a rival AI model.
The TikTok parent firm purportedly breached OpenAI and Microsoft’s developer licenses, implementing most of its GPT usage via Microsoft’s Azure. An investigation is underway to determine further action.
ByteDance has refuted the claims.
