OpenAI set to release GPT-4.5 within weeks

OpenAI is set to release its next generative AI model, GPT-4.5, in the coming weeks.

CEO Sam Altman announced this information on the social media platform X, referring to the model as Orion.

This launch marks the end of OpenAI’s current AI system development approach.

Altman indicated that GPT-4.5 will be the last model created without using advanced computing power to simulate human-like reasoning.
