Beginning today, access to OpenAI’s GPT-4 model is available to paying customers. In preparation for discontinuing older models from the Completions API – which takes a list of messages as input and returns a model-generated message – the company has urged users to switch to the Chat Completions.

Other offerings like GPT-3.5 Turbo, DALL-E, and Whisper have also been made generally available, and GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 Turbo’s fine-tuning is expected soon.
