OpenAI has introduced Pulse, a new ChatGPT feature that delivers daily personalized news, research, and updates.

The service is first available to select paid subscribers, who receive five to ten visual cards each day with tailored content.

Pulse can draw on user preferences and data from Gmail or Google Calendar if linked.

According to product lead Adam Fry, the feature is designed to share relevant information without demanding much user attention.

OpenAI plans to expand Pulse beyond its US$200-per-month ChatGPT Pro users later this year, aiming to make ChatGPT a daily source of targeted updates.
