OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Go in Indonesia, making it the first country in Southeast Asia to access the new subscription plan.

ChatGPT Go costs 75,000 rupiah (US$4.52) per month and offers higher message and image limits, file uploads, and extended memory, running on OpenAI’s latest GPT-5 model.

Indonesia is OpenAI’s second market globally for ChatGPT Go after India.

The new plan targets users seeking more advanced ChatGPT features at a cheaper price than existing Plus and Pro subscriptions.

OpenAI said the launch follows a rise in ChatGPT usage in Indonesia, with weekly active users up over three times year-on-year.

Users can access ChatGPT Go via web and mobile apps, with payments available through credit card and app store options.

OpenAI noted that data privacy controls for ChatGPT Go match those of its other services.
