OpenAI has launched its AI Economic Blueprint for Australia, marking its first initiative in the Asia-Pacific region and the third globally.

The announcement was made on July 1, 2025, in partnership with Mandala, an associated organization.

The blueprint outlines strategies to use AI for economic growth and societal development.

It highlights enhancing productivity, improving education, and streamlining government services.

OpenAI also highlighted the need for national investments in AI infrastructure to reach these objectives.
