Announced on June 5, this marks OpenAI’s first international expansion of its education platform.

The academy aims to enhance AI education in India by providing training to students, developers, educators, civil servants, nonprofit leaders, and small business owners.

Courses will be available in English and Hindi, with plans to expand into more regional languages.

Learning formats will include both digital and in-person options tailored to local needs.

The initiative includes workshops, webinars, and hackathons in multiple cities, targeting 25,000 students.
