OpenAI said it is partnering with Google Cloud to bring its frontier models and Codex agentic workflows to Google Cloud’s Model Garden, giving customers access to the models within Google Cloud.

Customers will be able to buy the models through Google Cloud Marketplace and use existing Google Cloud spending commitments for those purchases.

The integration will also include Google Cloud’s access controls and data governance tools for workloads involving sensitive data.

OpenAI models will also become available in Google Antigravity and Gemini Agent, giving enterprise users more model options.

The deal comes as hyperscaler cloud marketplace sales are forecast to hit US$163 billion by 2030, highlighting the growing role of cloud marketplaces in software procurement.
