OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform known for adult content, is now accessible in China after previously being blocked.

This was determined through checks conducted on Thursday.

The website, which has at times been available in China, was confirmed unblocked on November 29 by GreatFire.org, an organization tracking internet freedom.

Previously, China’s censorship laws, which block sites with explicit content, routinely restricted access to OnlyFans.

China has a zero-tolerance policy toward sexually explicit material, but the platform’s accessibility has sparked interest on social media.

While known for explicit content, OnlyFans also features non-sexual material such as fitness tutorials and music videos. In 2022, it launched a streaming service with comedy and sports shows, excluding adult content.
