OnlyFans paid $25b to creators since launch in 2016: CEO
OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair said the company has paid US$25 billion to creators since its launch in 2016.
OnlyFans, based in London, lets creators sell subscription content directly to fans, taking a 20% cut on sales.
While widely known for adult content, it also hosts creators focused on fitness, food, comedy, and sports.
Its popularity surged during the Covid-19 pandemic as more sex workers and celebrities joined to generate income, with athletes like cricketer Tymal Mills also using the platform to supplement earnings.
Owner Leonid Radvinsky received US$497 million in dividends in 2024 and US$204 million through April 2025, according to filings.
OnlyFans has reportedly considered sale offers this year, with Bloomberg previously reporting a possible US$8 billion valuation.
Concerns about online safety and explicit content have made the company a challenging acquisition target.
Blair declined to comment on any potential sale.
