Omnia acquires AI-driven AR startup SpotKwik

Omnia, a United States-based extended reality firm, has acquired SpotKwik, a startup recognized as one of the top augmented reality (AR) companies.

The financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.

Founded in 2019, SpotKwik initially focused on business-to-consumer social commerce using AR in influencer marketing before shifting to a business-to-business model.

SpotKwik co-founder and CEO Mithun Adith said that the partnership aims to focus on shifting from mobile computing to spatial computing.
