Krutrim, an AI company under the Ola Group, has partnered with Lenovo to develop India’s largest supercomputer, announced at Lenovo TechWorld India 2025.

Ola Group chief investment officer Navendu Agarwal said that the supercomputer will use Krutrim’s cloud capabilities alongside its AI models and proprietary chip.

Krutrim is training its “Krutrim 3” model on 700 billion parameters, following Ola’s US$230 million investment, with US$1 billion planned next year.

As part of the IndiaAI Mission, Krutrim proposed a foundational AI initiative, while Lenovo will expand manufacturing and R&D in India.

Lenovo aims to produce all AI-powered PCs locally by 2028 and will launch India-made AI servers starting Apr. 1.
