Ola Electric shares drop 4.4%, reaches record low

Shares of Ola Electric fell for the third consecutive session on Mar.11, 2025, reaching a record low of US$0.58 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). As of 11:52 AM, the stock was trading at US$0.59, reflecting a 4.4% drop from the previous closing price of US$0.62.

The company’s market capitalization stood at US$2,6 million as its shares continued their downward trajectory.

Over the past five days and month, the stock has experienced negative returns of 7.3% and 24%, respectively.

Ola Electric went public in August 2024 with an initial listing price of US$0.87 per share. Its stock has since declined approximately 30% below this IPO price. The stock’s highest value reached US$1.81.

The decline in Ola Electric’s stock price is attributed to various factors, including regulatory scrutiny, heightened competition in the electric two-wheeler segment, and growing financial difficulties.
