Ola Electric opens first Bengaluru hyperservice center
Ola Electric has opened its first Hyperservice Center in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, and plans to upgrade more service centres across India in the coming weeks.
The EV maker said these centres will offer same-day service for vehicles, depending on their condition, at no extra cost.
Ola Electric will make its genuine parts available for purchase through the Ola Electric Customer app.
This move comes as Ola Electric faces falling market share in the electric two-wheeler segment, 7.2% share.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Ola’s Hyperservice targets service gaps as scale remains unclear
- Ola Electric’s market share fell from 24.91% in January to 7.2% in November 2025. Q3 FY25 (third quarter of fiscal year 2025) losses rose 50% to Rs 564 crore despite 4,000 outlets, which the company has claimed is India’s largest EV retail network. Distribution alone has not solved customer satisfaction.
- The Hyperservice plan lists no center count or cities. It also skips capacity per site. Without clarity on whether Ola will open 10 or 100 upgraded centers, it is hard to judge if the approach matches the scale of issues. Bajaj Auto (legacy motorcycle maker), TVS Motor (two-wheeler giant), and Ather Energy (electric scooter maker) gained share in that time.
Parts access and training could lift EV spares distributors in tier-2 cities
- App-based spares ordering and training for independent garages spreads service beyond company sites, creating near-term logistics needs. Shipping EV two-wheeler components is complex due to bulky hardware. Lithium-ion battery rules require specialized packaging and compliance documentation. This opens opportunities for 3PL (third-party logistics) providers with electric vehicle spares handling experience.
- India’s 3PL market was USD 36.5 billion in 2023 with 7.95% CAGR (compound annual growth rate), and it is moving into automotive logistics. Distributors that offer same-day spares to Ola’s 4,000 outlets plus newly trained independent garages in tier-2 cities (mid-size cities beyond the major metros) where Bajaj gained traction can win partnerships. Ola seeks service reliability without proprietary sites in every location.
