OCBC, Ant International team up on tokenized deposits
OCBC Bank and Ant International signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 5, 2024, to enhance cross-border fund settlements.
Melvyn Low of OCBC and Douglas Feagin of Ant International signed an agreement to develop tokenized deposits using the Whale platform.
The partnership aims to enable real-time, continuous cross-border payments between Singapore and Malaysia.
By utilizing blockchain and advanced encryption, the initiative seeks to improve transparency and efficiency in global liquidity management.
