NZ AI startup ListAssist acquired by US software firm

New Zealand-based AI startup ListAssist has been acquired by Inside Real Estate, a software company based in Utah.

Financial details of the acquisition have not been made public.

ListAssist specializes in natural language search functionality for home listing platforms.

Following the acquisition, founder Chris McGoldrick and his team will retain operations in Auckland. McGoldrick will become head of AI at Inside Real Estate.

Founded in late 2022, ListAssist gained traction in the US market, partnering with notable companies like Howard Hanna and the Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX.

The startup’s tools serve approximately 40,000 real estate agents across North America.
