Nykaa, an Indian beauty and fashion retailer run by FSN E-Commerce Ventures, said in a filing that it expects consolidated net revenue growth in the late twenties in Q2 FY27. Gross merchandise value is expected to grow by about 30%, while net sales value is projected to rise in the early thirties.

Fashion is expected to be the faster-growing business. Nykaa said fashion net sales value should grow in the late forties, while net revenue should rise in the early forties.

The company added more than 250 brands during the quarter, and said its Nike partnership continued to see early traction through exclusive drops.

Beauty, Nykaa’s larger business, is expected to post net sales value and net revenue growth in the late twenties.

The company added 14 net new stores during the quarter, taking its total to 338 as of September 30. Like-for-like store sales growth was in the early twenties, the highest in six quarters.

Nykaa also said a larger part of this year’s festive season falls in the third quarter, shifting some festive-led growth from Q2 to Q3.

The update follows June-quarter results from FSN E-Commerce Ventures, which reported net profit of 800 million rupees (US$8.32 million). Operating revenue rose 29% year on year to 27.8 billion rupees (US$289 million).
