Nvidia’s Huang says agentic AI to reshape computing systems
At a media briefing in Taipei on June 2, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said agentic AI is creating a new computing architecture for personal computers, robots, vehicles, and data centers.
He said these systems can reason, use tools, and carry out tasks autonomously, adding that this shift will reinvent the existing base of PCs. Future applications will split work across local devices, home systems, and cloud infrastructure instead of relying on a single environment.
Researchers described this model as keeping latency-sensitive decisions on-device while moving heavier computation and coordination to the cloud instead of replacing local autonomy.
As an example, Huang pointed to RTX Spark, which Nvidia said it unveiled at GTC Taipei as a new class of Windows PCs built for personal AI agents, with up to 1 petaflop of AI compute and 128GB of unified memory for on-device agents.
He added that “physical AI” in self-driving cars and humanoid robots could be the next wave.
