Nvidia-backed AI firm CoreWeave files for $35b IPO

CoreWeave, a cloud service provider supported by Nvidia, has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) in the United States, citing significant revenue growth in 2024.

The company plans to list on Nasdaq with the ticker symbol “CRWV,” aiming for a valuation exceeding US$35 billion.

Founded in 2017 and based in Roseland, New Jersey, CoreWeave offers data centers and high-performance chips primarily supplied by Nvidia for AI workloads.

The company competes with major providers like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Its clients include hedge fund Jane Street and tech firms Meta, IBM, and Microsoft.
