Nvidia secures land for new campus in northern Israel
Nvidia has secured approval from the Israel Land Authority to receive at least 90 dunams of land—around 22 acres—in Kiryat Tivon at a discounted rate.
The chipmaker plans to build a campus there that could eventually host 8,000 employees, pending final internal approval and expanded building rights.
The site is part of a larger employment zone called Campus Tivon, which currently allows for 120,000 square meters of construction, while Nvidia is seeking permission for a 160,000-square-meter complex.
Nvidia will pay lease fees equal to 51% of the land’s value, lower than the usual 91% charged by the authority, with the exact amount dependent on the final development plan.
The company employs about 5,000 people in Israel, split between locations in Yokneam and Tel Aviv, and has recently leased additional space in Tel Aviv’s Rubinstein Twin Towers.
