Palantir said it is working with Nvidia on AI software for supply chains, starting with Nvidia’s own operations.

Palantir, a US software company focused on data analytics and decision systems, will combine Nvidia’s Nemotron models with Palantir Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) to analyze operational data, support materials allocation and scenario planning, and identify constraints and trade-offs across suppliers and manufacturing partners.

The companies said customers will also be able to post-train similar models on their own operational data.

The software can run on-premises with system makers including Dell and Cisco, or in colocation and cloud environments with partners including Rackspace and Nebius, for industries including manufacturing, energy, healthcare, automotive, and aerospace.

The supply-chain effort appears to extend a broader AI collaboration between the companies, rather than mark a first-time tie-up.

It also addresses a practical issue for Nvidia, whose advanced chips rely on manufacturing partners such as TSMC.

For Palantir, the project builds on an existing Foundry-based supply chain offering that integrates enterprise resource planning and operational data for production planning and inventory optimization.
