Nvidia nears acquisition of AI server firm Lepton AI
Nvidia is reportedly nearing an acquisition of Lepton AI, a company that rents servers powered by Nvidia AI chips, according to The Information.
The deal is estimated to be worth several hundred million dollars, but Nvidia has not confirmed this information.
Founded two years ago, Lepton AI raised US$11 million in seed funding in May 2023 from CRV and Fusion Fund.
This acquisition would follow Nvidia’s recent reported purchase of synthetic data startup Gretel.
