Nvidia joins $14m round for Indian AI startup Simplismart

Simplismart, an India-based AI infrastructure startup, has raised US$14 million in a series B round led by Dallas Venture Capital, with Nvidia participating, the company said in a post.

The company said it builds software to help businesses deploy and run AI models on graphics processing units while balancing cost, speed, and reliability in production.

Simplismart added that cloud providers use its platform to offer managed AI services under their own brands. The startup also said it powers the serverless inference layer of Yotta’s Shakti Studio.

Nvidia has also invested US$150 million in AI inference startup Baseten. Separately, Nvidia runs its Inception program to support startups building on or around its technologies.
