Nvidia expands AI toolkit with Omniverse libraries
Nvidia said that its Agent Toolkit now includes Omniverse libraries, giving developers tools to build AI agents that prepare 3D assets and scenes for simulation.
Companies use those simulations to design, test, and train robots, factory systems, and autonomous machines before real-world deployment.
The libraries include tools for sensor simulation, GPU-accelerated physics, and converting computer-aided design (CAD) data into simulation-ready assets built on OpenUSD. Nvidia also released a blueprint for integrating Omniverse libraries into Blender.
Canada-based SideFX and US-based PTC are integrating the libraries. Startups ForgeCAD, Lightwheel, Moonlake AI, and Palatial are early adopters.
Nvidia said the toolkit is a library that works across frameworks and connects agents to enterprise data sources and tools across existing software stacks.
Nvidia defined SimReady as an OpenUSD-based specification framework that adds validated physics and semantic properties so simulation tools can use assets consistently. That means CAD conversion is one step in preparing reusable simulation content.
Because Omniverse libraries also underpin Isaac Sim for robotics simulation. The release ties agent workflows more closely to Nvidia’s broader simulation software stack.
