Nvidia is planning to establish a hub in Vietnam to bolster the country’s semiconductor industry, according to the Vietnamese government.

This follows the visit of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to the country, where the chipmaker has invested US$250 million to date.

It also aligns with Vietnam’s aim to expand into chip design and manufacturing amid US-China trade tensions.
