Nvidia CEO to skip Trump’s inauguration
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia Corp., will not attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20, according to a source familiar with the situation.
Huang is traveling in East Asia this week, a trip he typically makes around the Lunar New Year.
The source also indicated that Huang has not attended any United States presidential inaugurations in the past.
In contrast to Nvidia, other prominent tech companies like Apple, Amazon, and Tesla plan to send their executives, including Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk.
Nvidia declined to comment on Huang’s attendance or any interactions with the incoming administration.
