He explained in Taipei that the H20, a lower-powered AI chip for the Chinese market, has no security backdoors.

Huang’s comments come after Chinese authorities called in Nvidia representatives to discuss potential security issues with the H20.

He said Nvidia had clarified the chip’s security features to Chinese officials.
