Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stressed the role of AI and robotics in addressing Taiwan’s labor challenges during his recent visit to the country.

Speaking on May 23, 2025 at Taipei Songshan Airport, Huang encouraged Taiwan to use “agentic AI” to create new opportunities.

Huang defined agentic AI as technology that can reason and solve problems step by step.

He indicated that AI agents and robotics could help perform various tasks in workplaces and everyday life.

“Here in Taiwan, we have many great ideas, but there are not enough people,” he said.
