Nvidia backs $1b for US AI robotics firm Figure at $39b valuation

Figure, a humanoid robotics company based in San Jose, California, has closed a series C funding round that values it at US$39 billion.

The round, which Figure said exceeded US$1 billion, was led by Parkway Venture Capital and included Brookfield Asset Management, Nvidia, and Intel Capital.

The company plans to use the new funding to expand its robot fleet, enhance infrastructure, and accelerate data collection and robot training.

Figure develops humanoid robots for use in warehouses, factories, and similar environments.

Since its founding in 2022, Figure has raised almost US$2 billion.

Earlier this year, Figure’s CEO said Figure was the most “sought-after” stock on the private market.

Figure has issued cease-and-desist letters to several secondary stock market brokers, citing unauthorized attempts to sell its shares.
