Synthesia, Nvidia-backed AI video platform,  has raised US$180 million, boosting its valuation to US$2.1 billion.

The round led by venture firm NEA, with participation from Atlassian Ventures, World Innovation Lab and PSP Growth.

The funding will support product development, security, and compliance, as the company experiences rapid growth since last year’s US$1 billion valuation.

Synthesia recently launched tools for creating AI avatars and screen recording guided by avatars.
