Nvidia-backed Australian AI firm Firmus eyes IPO after GPU deal
Firmus Technologies said it signed a multi‑billion contract that covers roughly 18,400 Nvidia GB300 GPUs to be deployed at a new data centre in Melbourne, as it prepares for an expected public listing later this year.
Firmus did not name the customer; the company was valued at about A$6 billion (about US$4.2 billion), according to the report.
