Nvidia, AMD back US AI company Uniphore in $260m round

Uniphore has closed a US$260 million series F round with participation from Nvidia, AMD, Snowflake, and Databricks, bringing its valuation to US$2.5 billion.

The company, based in Palo Alto, develops business-focused AI software and platforms.

The new funding will be used to advance its Business AI Cloud platform and expand its ecosystem.

Recent developments include the launch of Business AI Cloud, acquisitions of ActionIQ and Infoworks, and announced acquisitions of Orby AI and Autonom8.

Over 2,000 businesses use its platform globally, including KPMG, Konecta, Allstate, and The Washington Post.

🧠 Food for thought

Implications, context, and why it matters.

The $2.5 billion valuation held flat from 2022

  • Series F kept the $2.5 billion figure from the February 2022 Series E, even after raising $260 million from AI backers such as NVIDIA and AMD 1.
  • The company claims strong enterprise adoption. It shares no hard metrics such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), growth rate, or customer expansion beyond serving over 2,000 businesses 1.
  • The flat mark diverges from many AI deals in 2024 and 2025, so investors prioritized partnership benefits over a higher price.
  • Public revenue figures vary across third-party trackers. CB Insights (a private-market research firm) has 2021 at $100 million 2. GetLatka (a startup revenue database) lists $40 million for 2021 and conflicting 2024 tallies ($139.1 million in October vs. $500 million by November) 3. That makes traction hard to judge.

New investors open partnership paths for system integrators and ISVs

  • Unite Partner Program has four options for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) plus resellers, including App Alliances for co-selling with technical support 4.
  • NVIDIA, AMD, and Snowflake are in, as is Databricks 1. Developers can build vertical apps with AI agents (software that can autonomously take actions to achieve goals) on Business AI Cloud 1.
  • System integrators (consultancies that implement and stitch together complex IT systems) like KPMG are working with Uniphore on client deployments which give an integration path 1.
  • Software vendors should review Application Programming Interface (API) access, revenue share terms, and go-to-market support to see if building on Uniphore’s Business AI Cloud fits their AI plans 4.
