Japan-based IT services company NTT Data said on September 8 that it is expanding an AI-powered platform for global infrastructure operations.

The company cited Daimler Truck, one of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, as an example of the platform’s use.

NTT Data said the platform combines real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and automation to support complex enterprise environments worldwide.

The scope covers information technology and cloud infrastructure, SAP Basis, and network operations.

In Daimler Truck’s case, the deployment includes monitoring global manufacturing environments, generating predictive insights, and automating incident processing.

The platform may align with an offering NTT Data launched on April 27, 2026, called Multivendor Agentic Services Experience for Enterprise Infrastructure, though the company did not name the platform in this announcement.

NTT Data previously won a global enterprise resource planning support contract for Daimler, but this announcement did not describe the Daimler Truck deployment as an extension of that earlier work.
