Notion has reached US$500 million in annualized revenue, driven by demand for its AI-powered productivity tools.

The San Francisco-based software company added AI features in late 2022, including a writing assistant built with OpenAI’s technology.

Notion now counts corporate clients such as Kaiser Permanente, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Nvidia, and Volvo Cars.

The firm rolled out a preview of custom agents this week, which can automate tasks like collecting and sharing articles based on user interests.
