Nokia appoints Intel’s AI, data center head as new CEO
Nokia announced on Feb. 10 that Pekka Lundmark will step down as CEO, with Justin Hotard set to assume the role on April 1.
Hotard currently serves as the executive vice president and general manager of the Data Center & AI Group at Intel.
Lundmark, who became CEO in 2020, will serve as an advisor to Hotard until the end of the year.
According to Nokia, this leadership transition follows Lundmark’s decision to step back from executive roles.
