Nio reports 69% revenue growth in second quarter

Nio, a China-based electric vehicle maker, said on September 1 that its second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 69.1% year on year to 32.1 billion yuan (US$4.78 billion), while gross margin was 18.4%, up 8.4 percentage points from a year earlier.

The company expects third-quarter deliveries of 108,000 to 111,000 vehicles, up 24.0% to 27.5% from a year earlier. It forecast revenue of 33.3 billion yuan (US$4.95 billion) to 34.1 billion yuan (US$5.07 billion), up 52.7% to 56.2%.

In its reported results, Nio did not provide further details on growth across its brands or models. It also did not disclose second-quarter net loss or cash holdings, or provide analyst consensus figures for its third-quarter outlook.
