Ninja Van tackles overdue salaries at VN subsidiary

Logistics technology company Ninja Van has settled overdue salaries and social insurance contributions owed to over 100 employees at its subsidiary, ECRM Nobita, in Vietnam.

Earlier, a group of employees protested on 12 September due to outstanding payments for work completed in July and August.

In light of the ongoing payment issues, Ninja Van announced on September 19 the suspension of operations at ECRM Nobita to rectify the payroll problems.

By the time of the announcement, the firm confirmed that overdue salaries had been processed and would be transferred to employees’ bank accounts immediately.

Ninja Van’s co-founder Tan Boxian clarified that the situation at ECRM Nobita is distinct from Ninja Van’s overall operations, emphasizing that the company’s broader logistics initiatives remain unaffected.
